TAFISA Mission 2030 Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Sport for All

TAFISA is proud to announce the launch of the Mission 2030 Awards, a recognition program celebrating outstanding initiatives that embody our vision of creating a better world through Sport for All.

The Mission 2030 Awards will honor three exceptional initiatives, whether projects, programs, or events, that are taking meaningful action to advance Sport for All and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These awards recognize innovative approaches to grassroots sport, physical activity promotion, and inclusive sport initiatives that demonstrate measurable impact in communities around the world.

Our world faces unprecedented challenges, from climate change and non-communicable diseases to social isolation and inequality. Sport for All has the unique power to address these global problems and create positive change. Through the Mission 2030 Awards, we celebrate those who are leading the way in using sport and physical activity as catalysts for social transformation. Applications are welcomed for initiatives aligned with any of TAFISA's 13 Mission 2030 themes. Read more about the themes here.

- TAFISA member organizations,

- Non-member organizations working in Sport for All and physical activity, when nominated by a TAFISA member

- Align with at least one Mission 2030 theme

- Promote or utilize Sport for All and/or physical activity

- Demonstrate measurable impact and outcomes

- Have been operational for a minimum of 6 months before the application deadline, - OR completed within the last 12 months (recurring initiatives remain eligible)

Winners will receive:

- Waiver of registration fee for TAFISA World Congress 2026

- Featured interview opportunity during the Congress program

- Spotlight feature in the official TAFISA Newsletter

- Recognition across TAFISA's digital platforms

- Access to TAFISA's international network

- Award certificate

Applications must be completed online and submitted via the official application link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/M2030Awards (accessible from 7 November 2025).

- General information about your initiative/project

- Details on alignment with Mission 2030 themes

- Explanation of why your initiative deserves recognition

- Evidence of impact (data, testimonials, media coverage, etc.)

- Supporting documentation (optional but strongly encouraged)

All applications must be submitted in English.
